International undergraduates can receive Korean language lessons one-on-one with Korean tutors in their major subjects. This program is also an academic program that helps international students improve their language skills while making Korean friends.
International Students (Tutee)
- Qualifications: Undergraduates who have completed more than one semester with a GPA lower than 3.0.
- Submission Period: Early February and early August every year.
- How to Register: Register by visiting the Center for International Student Services (CISS) website.
- Program Schedule: six (6) hours per week for 12 weeks (72 hours in total). Also includes free Korean class guidance.
Korean Students (Tutors)
- Qualifications: Students who have completed, or are currently taking, courses with which the tutee wants assistance. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5. Tutors will be in a higher grade than their tutees.
- Registration Period: Early February and early August every year.
- How to Register: Register by visiting the Center for International Student Services (CISS) website.
- Benefits of Participation: Issuing of certified documents of academic activities, with one (1) credit for a general course; supporting fees for activities are provided.
