2024 Academic Year Freshman Orientation (2024.02.07, Wed)
This year, we had an orientation session to introduce the school and department to the newly admitted freshmen of the Class of 2024.
Many students participated in this orientation, and since it was the first gathering of the department chair, current students, and freshmen,
it was an exciting and nerve-wracking moment for everyone to meet each other for the first time!
This year, the orientation was integrated with "Pioom," and a school visit event was organized to introduce the department to the new students.
Afterward, the student council provided an introduction to the overall department life for the freshmen.
Despite the rain, a campus tour was arranged, focusing on places where we could avoid getting wet.
What was especially heartwarming this year was the active participation of the current 2023 freshmen,
who helped guide the new 2024 freshmen through their orientation, assisting them in starting their new school life.
We hope the Class of 2024 will enjoy their time as part of the German Language and Literature community and, next year,
be ready to welcome the new incoming students with open arms!
