Hello everyone~
Today, we bring you the news of the <2024 Academic Year Tombroye Kurzbeschreibung> event,
which was held with the native instructors from the German Language and Literature department!
Following last year’s event, this year, under the guidance of instructors Daniela Levine and Christina Jach,
students visited the Tombroye German Brewery in Songjeong to explore German food culture and beer culture.
Additionally, through this experience, various programs aimed at improving German speaking skills were conducted.
In this program, students learned and practiced vocabulary related to restaurants and food while engaging in the activities.
It was a great opportunity to enhance their language skills in a real-world context!
‘Tombroye’ is a German-style restaurant run by a local German, which also operates a brewery.
It’s a unique place where you can experience various German beers and traditional German dishes (such as sausages, schnitzels, etc.).
While enjoying the food and culture, students had the opportunity to use the vocabulary they learned during the program to engage in discussions about German cuisine and culture.
It was a fun and immersive way to practice the language!
