Application for Transfer of Credits from a Former Institution

대학원과정 학생 중 전적 학교 학점 인정을 희망하는 경우, 아래 절차에 따라 기한 내 신청하여 주시기 바랍니다.

1. 인정 기준: 입학 전 교내·외 타 대학원 동일 과정에서 취득한 과목 중, 본교 교육과정과 학문 내용이 유사한 교과목

2. 인정 범위: 수료에 필요한 학점의 2분의 1 범위 내

   * 참고: (2022년 이전 입학 기준) 석사과정의 경우 최소필요 학점 논문트랙 42학점/비논문트랙 48학점, 박사과정의 경우 최소필요 학점 42학점

           (2022년 이후 입학 기준) 석사과정의 경우 최소필요 학점 논문트랙 36학점/비논문트랙 42학점, 박사과정의 경우 최소필요 학점 36학점

3. 인정 절차: 학과 심의를 거쳐 학사과에 신청

4. 제출 서류:

① 전적학교 이수과목 교수계획표

② 성적증명서

③ 학점 인정 신청서(붙임)

  → 국제전문대학원 행정실 제출

5. 신청기간: 2026. 3. 6.(금) 17:00까지

6. 유의 사항:

  1) 전적학교에서 인정받은 교과목과 동일한 교과목을 본교에서 다시 이수할 경우, 중복 교과목으로 처리되어 나중에 취득한 성적은 무효 처리됩니다.

(교과목명이 동일한 경우 중복 교과목으로 간주함)

  2) 학점 인정 신청 전에 해당 과목을 수강 신청한 경우, 전산상 중복 여부 확인이 불가하므로 신청 전 반드시 수강신청 내역을 확인하시기 바랍니다.

  3) 국내·외 교류수학으로 취득한 학점은 전적학교 인정 학점을 포함하여 졸업(수료)학점의 2분의 1 이내에서만 인정 가능합니다.

따라서 전적학교 학점을 최대 한도로 인정받을 경우, 추후 교류수학 학점 인정이 제한될 수 있습니다.

Graduate students who wish to apply for recognition of credits earned at a former institution are advised to follow the procedures below and submit the required documents within the designated period.

1. Criteria for Recognition: Courses completed prior to admission at another graduate school (in the same academic level) that are deemed academically equivalent to courses offered at GSIS.

2. Maximum Transferable Credits: Up to one-half of the total credits required for program completion

    * Reference: (Before 2022) Master’s: Thesis track 42 credits / Non-thesis track 48 credits; Doctoral: 42 credits.

                    (From 2022) Master’s: Thesis track 36 credits / Non-thesis track 42 credits; Doctoral: 36 credits.

3. Review Procedure: Applications will be reviewed by the department and submitted to the Academic Affairs Office.

4. Required Documents

  ① Syllabus of previously completed courses

  ② Official transcript

  ③ Credit Transfer Application Form (attached)

   → Submit all documents to the GSIS office.

5. Application Period: By 2026. 3. 6.(Fri), 17:00

6. Important Notes:

  1) If a student retakes at PNU a course that has already been approved for credit transfer, the later grade earned at PNU will be invalidated.

(Identical course titles are regarded as duplicate courses.)

  2) If you register for a course before applying for credit transfer, the system may not automatically detect duplication. Please carefully review your course registration before applying.

  3) Credits earned through domestic or international exchange programs are recognized within one-half of the total credits required for graduation, including transferred credits.

Therefore, if the maximum number of transferable credits is approved, future exchange credits may not be recognized.
