Proposition of Student Doctor Dental Care Counseling
for International Students
1. Purpose
A. To inform international students in Pusan National Univeristy (PNU) about ‘Pusan National University Dental Hospital’s student doctor dental care
B. To Examine general oral hygiene (4/26-28, @ PNU Jang Jeon campus, Sae beok bul library(the 2nd library) parking lot) of international students
C. Provide actual dental treatment to international students through dental practice and oral health care education
2. Necessity of the program
The program would offer dental treatment counseling for international students, who are having hard time to get oral examintion either in Korea or in their countries, in order to improve their oral hygiene.
3. General information of this program
A. Main target: International (including exchange) students, currently attending PNU
B. Location: PNU Jang Jeon campus, Sae beok bur library parking lot
C. Oral Examination date: 26~28th April., 2023 at 11:00~17:00
D. We intend to carry out general oral examination to international students as well as local students (We already have a program that gives dental care opportunities to local students in PNU. We intend to merge this new international student program to the local one after the promotion)
E. After the general oral examination, students, who are in need of dental treatment, would have an opportunity to make an appointment at PNU Dental Hospital.
F. Further visitation and counsel date at the hospital will be mutually decided according to their schedule.

2 | Re-examination at Pusan National University Dental Hospital -Students who need preferential treatment are visited to Pusan National University Dental Hospital and receive radiographs and re-examination from department specialists or professors to establish an accurate treatment plan and schedule treatment. | Visit PNU Dental Hospital with ID Card and be reexamined |
