<Introduction_Saeron>

“Saeron” is a volunteer club at Pusan National University School of Dentistry.

Saeron is one of the best volunteer clubs representing Pusan National University School of Dentistry. Here You will be volunteering for foreign workers and children with your senior student and graduated dentists.

<Advantages of signing in Saeron>

1.     You can experience dental treatment before becoming a real dentist.

If you sign in Saeron, you can visit the ‘Immigration Dental Clinic’ which is volunteer group for multicultural families and foreign workers located in Jeonpo-dong every Sunday. Volunteer service is provided every week, but as the members of the club rotate and participate in activities, everyone participates in activities 3 to 4 times a semester.

Through medical volunteering, you can have a beneficial experience of directly or indirectly doing dental activities, such as assisting dentists watching and learning how to treat dental care and treat patients. Particularly, it is very helpful to experience clinical contents that were only heard in theory, such as learning simple instrument setting and disinfection methods, when you become senior.

2.     Complete meaningful "summer volunteer service" in one day.

Saeron conducts the biggest event, ‘Summer Medical Volunteer,’ every summer vacation. You may have a experience of becoming a real dentist treating children at ‘Saddlewon’, a children’s welfare facility in Dongnae. Since it is a volunteer service that takes only one day and is not burdensome, we recommend you to come sign in Saeron if you want to spend meaningful volunteer work and enjoy summer vacation.

3.     The atmosphere is more like a family than any other club.

Saeron is a family-like club where not only volunteer activities but also various social activities are held such as the opening general meeting, RO wearing ceremony, cadaver ceremony, and graduation farewell party.

Those who want to change their school life, those who are interested in continuous volunteer work, and those who want to make good memories with good people are always welcome to Saeron.
