Provide support (e.g. food, housing, transportation, legal services) for students from low-income families to enable them

to complete university

Pusan National University (PNU) offers support programs for low-income students to help them complete their studies.

These include free dormitory support, counseling, shuttle bus services and meal assistance.

1. PNU's "Happy Home Support Project" covers 100% of dormitory fees for students receiving basic livelihood assistance.

Dormitory recruitment guidelines prioritize students from families living on national welfare, residents of accredited child

welfare facilities, and former foster children.

2. PNU Hyowon Counseling Center provides free counseling to help economically disadvantaged students

receive psychological support, allowing them to focus on their studies.

3. PNU offers free shuttle bus services for students living far away, ensuring they have stable access to

   education while reducing transportation expenses.

4. PNU Legal Counsel Office offers free legal advice for low-income students facing potential legal issue,

helping prevent barriers to accessing legal assistance.

5. PNU's "1,000 Won Breakfast Project" offers low-income students a morning meal at the campus cafeteria

for just 1,000 Korean won, easing their food cost burden.
