Pusan National University(PNU) implements various policies, both temporary and ongoing, to support students' basic dietary needs.
1. The PNU Student Council organizes an annual snack support event during exam periods
to help students focus on their academic studies.
In April and October 2023, free snacks were provided during midterms.
2. PNU annually hosts a New Year's free rice cake soup sharing event for university members at the beginning of the year.
This event promotes communication and a sense of community within the campus.
In 2023, university officials, including the Dean of the Student Affairs Office, served meals to participants at the event.
3. Individual colleges also have nutritional support policies.
On December 5, 2023, the College of Engineering held a "Final Exam Snack Event," offering free lunches to 500 students.
This event received support through voluntary donations from alumni, further fostering a sense of community within the university.
