Provide interventions to prevent or alleviate hunger among students(e.g. including supply and access to food banks/pantries)
Pusan National University(PNU) runs events and regular programs to address students’ nutritional gaps and meal-cost burdens, offering practical dietary support.
1. Each semester PNU provides free snacks for students who miss meals due to time or financial constraints, particularly during exam periods. In 2024, PNU held snack sessions with the president for students across the Busan, Yangsan, and Miryang campuses.

2. For Farmers' Day 2024 and a domestic-rice promotion breakfast, PNU served rice cakes and convenient meals made from domestic ingredients to encourage healthy eating and support local agriculture.
3. PNU annually hosts a free New Year’s rice cake soup sharing event for students and staff, promoting a culture of sharing and collective well-being.
