Pusan National University(PNU) recognizes labor unions to empower all employees, including women and foreign nationals,
to advocate for their rights.
Collective agreements, resulting from negotiations between the university and the unions, include clauses protecting union activities.
Key provisions are as follows:
1. 2023 Collective Agreement for University Contract Employees
- Article 10(Guarantee of Union Activities): PNU affirms that union members may engage in union activities without interference
and guarantees no adverse treatment based on union participation.
2. 2023 Collective Agreement for Cleaning Service Workers
- Article 7(Guarantee of Union Activities): PNU ensures freedom for legitimate union activities without punitive actions.
3. 2023 Collective Agreement for Research and Business Development Foundation Employees
- Article 9(Guarantee of Union Activities): The foundation commits to protecting legitimate union activities,
avoiding management interference, and ensuring no negative repercussions arise from such activities.
