[8.2.7] Tracking pay scale for gender equity Measurement or tracking pay scale gender equity |
PNU(Pusan National University) conducted an analysis of the gender wage gap among faculty and staff
to ensure compliance with the Public Officials Remuneration Regulations and related salary agreements.
This assessment utilized salary data from full-time faculty and staff who had at least 12 months of service as of 2023,
to calculate average monthly wages by rank and gender.
The results indicated no significant differences in remuneration based on gender, as salaries for faculty and staff,
including public officials and contract employees, are governed by uniform regulations and agreements that are rank-based.
PNU reaffirms its commitment to gender-equal pay in its annual wage agreements and will continue to analyze
the distribution of average monthly wages by rank and gender to monitor for potential wage disparities.
