[8.2.8] Employment practice appeal process Have a process for employees to appeal on employee rights and/or pay |
Pusan National University(PNU) has established procedures for staff to express grievances and seek institutional
corrections regarding unfair treatment in promotion or compensation.
These procedures are formalized in standardized regulations to protect employee rights.
1. The Human Rights Center offers online and offline consultation services via its Counseling Office for university members
facing workplace rights violations.
The "PNU Human Rights Center Regulations" detail how employees can seek consultation, report incidents, and request
temporary measures like spatial separation from offenders.
These regulations are available on PNU’s website bulletin board to enhance employee awareness of their rights.
2. In accordance with the "National Public Officials Act," and "Regulations on Performance Evaluation for Public Officials,",
PNU distributes performance bonuses based on evaluations by the Performance Bonus Review Committee.
Evaluation results and bonus levels are clearly communicated to staff, and employees can appeal their evaluations within one
week of notification.
The committee reviews the appeal and may adjust performance bonus levels based on the x-x-x-objections raised.
