[8.2.7.] Tracking pay scale for gender equity
Measurement or tracking pay scale gender equity
Pusan National University(PNU) publishes an annual compensation analysis report to detect and address gender pay gaps and promote a fair, gender equitable compensation system. Prepared by the Finance and Accounting Division, the payroll management unit, the 2024 report analyzes wage data for full-time faculty, teaching assistants, public officials, and staff, visually presenting gender wage gaps by rank. The analysis indicates no significant gender-based wage differences, as wages are based on uniform regulations, including the Public Official Remuneration Regulations and Collective Agreements. In compliance with the “Act on Women’s Equal Employment and Support for Work Family Balance,” the university is committed to ongoing monitoring and will publish this analysis annually to ensure transparency and fairness.
