Pusan National University(PNU) follows sustainable construction standards for new campus buildings, as outlined
in the "Green Building Support Act."
The criteria include:
- Green Building Certification: Evaluates land use, transportation, energy, environmental pollution, and water management.
- Energy Efficiency Rating Certification: Assesses energy demand per area and CO2 emissions.
- Zero-Energy Building Certification: Measures energy independence through renewable energy utilization.
1. PNU obtained energy efficiency and green building certifications for the Advanced Science Hall,
noted for its excellent energy efficiency and low-emission materials.
2. Preliminary certifications for green buildings and zero-energy buildings were awarded for the Laboratory Animal Center
based on its energy efficiency and independence.
