Promote or allow telecommuting or remote working for employees as a matter of policy or standard practice, or offer a condensed working week to reduce employee commuting
1. Pusan National University(PNU) offers flexible work arrangements to support employees’ work?life balance and reduce commuting demand and environmental pollution. Options include a “flexible work schedule (adjsutable hours and days within a 40-hour week)" and a "remote-work system." The university distributes a flexible-work implementation manual and processes applications via an electronic approval system, allowing staff to avoid peak travel times or change commuting days. According to the General Affairs Division's "2024 Key Performance Report," the university recorded 5,254 flexible-work applications in 2024, a 15.2% increase year-on-year.
2. PNU also supports effective remote work through its VPN and electronic approval systems along with ongoing promotions to ensure smooth home-based operations.
