How you evaluate your students' ability and retain key concepts of sustainablity

1. Pusan National University(PNU) administers the annual PNU CESA (Collegiate Essential Skills Assessment) to evaluate students’ proficiency in eight core sustainability-centered competencies, including global cultural competency, service competency, and character competency. The PNU-CESA assesses social and environmental sustainability awareness with items such as “openness to other ethnicities and cultures” and “awareness of plastic regulation obligations.”

 In 2024, 2,811 students completed PNU-CESA and received sustainability-literacy diagnoses.

2. The ESG Management Center conducted a 2024 student survey to assess awareness of the university’s ESG efforts and the values students deem essential for ESG implementation.
