Required General Education Courses
- Required electives include Creative Writing (1 credit), Open-minded Speaking (1 credit), Practical English (2 credits) and Practical Computer (2 credits). Students must complete six (6) credits in total for graduation.
Elective General Education Courses
- Ideologies and History (Area 1); Society and Culture; Literature and the Arts (Area 2); Science and Technology (Area 3); Health and Recreation/Sports (Area 4); Foreign Languages (Area 6). Students must complete five out of six areas (total 24 credits) for graduation.
General Electives
- For basic ideas and methods of observation, students are required to take elective courses and make effective plans for courses open for course completion.
- Students must take credits for the following courses in their own curriculum: 1. Korean; 2. Languages; 3. History, Philosophy and Ideas; 4. Social Sciences; 5. Literature, Culture, and the Arts; 6. Nature and Exchange, 7. Life, Health and Physical Education.
Curriculum of Major Programs
- The curriculum of major programs are courses necessary for academic research in each department and are divided into basic major courses, mandatory major courses, elective major courses and specializations.
- Basic Major Courses: students must complete all of the basic major courses for basic knowledge needed for major course completion designated by the relevant departments.
- Mandatory Major Courses: requisites (required major courses) are designated by each department as the general courses for its professional academic research. Students must complete their mandatory major courses for graduation.
- Elective Major Courses: these courses are designated for specialized education of major programs. Students can select any elective major courses in their departments by year and semester.
- Specializations: students who have not completed one of the double majors, minors, interdisciplinary studies or interdisciplinary studies in education must complete specialization courses,
General Elective Courses
- Students can complete general elective courses in their departments or other departments. Also, if students have earned more credits of major courses than required, those credits are transferable as general elective courses.
