◆ Lab Overview
Eco-friendly process is needed to prepare the global crisis such as high-oil price and CO2 emission. Our research team are developing high strength ferrous material which could stand over 1GPa for automobile and offshore plant. We analyze physical properties and investigate process of balancing microstructure and secondary phase by controlling thermomechanical treatment. Also we focus on Hydrogen Delayed Fracture mechanism which occurs easily for high strength steels. Furthermore, we are developing Pb-free micro joining material for automotive electronics.
