Child Development and Family Studies explores the psychological, social, and behavioral, development of a person from pre-birth to the old age, focusing on the processes and mechanisms of growth and change over life course. The department contributes to the well-being of individuals and families throughout an individual's lifetime by generating knowledge, preparing graduates for research, teaching, leadership, and professional practice and strengthening the interconnections of research, practice, and policy.
