Fall, 2019 (Graduate School Course)
Course Objective
On the basis of lecture, video files, and references, students will learn how to create nanostructured materials and control their morphologies in both gas and liquid phases. And then we will study how we can build various functional devices uisng those nanostructured materials as building blocks.
Course Description
- Properties of reacting gases and fluids
- Synthesis of nanostructured materials (e.g. nanoparticles/nanowires/nanotubes)
- Design and a ssembly of nanomaterial-based gas sensors and solar cells
