This unforgettable Temple Stay was more than just a trip; it was a chance to connect deeply with Korean culture, discover new perspectives, and build friendships across borders. We visited the filming site of Crash Landing on You, tasted local favorites like Ttukbaegi Bulgogi and Yukhoe Bibimbap, and shared meaningful networking time at a cafe. The day concluded with a fun boat ride at Amethyst Cave Land.It was a wonderful blend of nature, culture, and friendship. We look forward to the next cultural experience! PNU-KOTRA Job Fair to Empower Int'l Students 작성자 이연주 조회 126 첨부파일 4 작성일 2025.11.04 Pusan National University, in collaboration with KOTRA, hosted a Job Fair for international students on September 18 at the university’s Engineering Building.The event aimed to support foreign students seeking employment in Korea while helping local companies address talent shortages. Over 200 international students participated, along with nine Busan-based companies. The majority of participating companies were recruiting for roles in research and development (47%) and overseas business (33%). Among the students, 62% were enrolled in graduate programs (master’s or doctoral), with engineering (40%) and business/economics (24%) being the most common majors―fields highly sought after by industry. The event featured one-on-one interviews between students and companies, Korean and English resume reviews, mock interviews, professional ID photo sessions, personal color analysis, career counseling, and character profiling. Currently, alumni associations from 16 countries are actively operating, including China, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, GKS, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Japan, Myanmar, Latin America, Turkiye, Russia, and Ethiopia. These associations aim to support the early settlement of international students and manage alumni relations.The PNU Alumni website of 2024 (https://pnualumni.pusan.ac.kr/eng/html/main/main.php) has recorded an increase of 3,649 visitors, 167 new alumni members, and 131 new posts compared to last year, 2023. The PNU International has provided a total support fund of 14,500,000 KRW to total 15 countries. With the increased support fund this year, each country's alumni association is expected to conduct more enriching and beneficial activities.Details of upcoming events and schedules will be posted on the PNU Alumni website and the PNU International Instagram account.
