Thank you for visiting the Pusan National University School of Dentistry.

Since admitting its first class of pre-dental students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1979 and officially opening as the College of Dentistry in 1981, the Pusan National University School of Dentistry has, for over 45 years, produced outstanding scholars and dentists. In 2006, we reorganized into a graduate-level professional school, and in 2015, we introduced the integrated bachelor’s–master’s program. Through these reforms, we have become a cradle of excellence, nurturing talented individuals with diverse academic backgrounds and a strong passion for learning.

Our School of Dentistry is not only the sole institution in the Busan–Gyeongnam region dedicated to training dentists, but is also recognized as one of the nation’s top-tier educational and research institutions. Since relocating to the Yangsan campus in 2009, we have expanded our scope, secured numerous national research projects, and established a cutting-edge digital dentistry education environment by incorporating advanced science and technology. These developments have greatly contributed to the growth and excellence of our faculty, students, and staff. Looking forward, we aim to embrace artificial intelligence, ESG initiatives, and further curricular reforms that will attract more young talents, transforming our school into a dynamic institution where the entire academic community grows together.
