Chemical & Biomolecular EngineeringThe school of chemical and biomolecular engineering at PNU offers several scholarships each year to incoming and current undergraduate students with excellent academic achievements. More than 80% of all students enrolled in our school receive a financial support through various types of scholarship.
Scholarships offered by our school are composed of campus-wide scholarships, external scholarships, and Munchang Hwagong scholarship by 『Munchang Hwagong Scholarship Foundation』. Campus-wide scholarships (one of the examples is PNU The Premier Scholarship) are awarded to students on the basis of both academic merit and financial need. External scholarships mainly consist of ones offered from foundations, organizations, groups, and individuals outside the university. Some industries offer junior and senior students academic scholarships with the condition of employment after graduation. Students are encouraged to search and apply for outside scholarships.
Munchang Hwagong scholarship is an honorable scholarship offered from PNU chemical engineering alumni foundation (a.k.a. Munchang Hwagong Scholarship Foundation) to undergraduate students in our school. This particular scholarship fund has been raised by alumni graduated from our school and has been awarded to 8-10 students every year since 2002.
