Upon graduation, graduates from our school either take employment or continue studies in graduate school. The employment rate is more than 85% and mostly go on to work for large public and private companies and firms in industries such as LG, Samsung, SK, and Hyundai corporation.
Graduates can tailor their chemical engineering major to careers in traditional chemical engineering (such as oil refining, petro- and fine chemicals), information technology (such as semiconductor and display materials), process engineering (such as offshore plant design and engineering), and biotechnology related fields (such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics).
Graduates who choose to attend graduate school to earn a master’s or doctorate degree in chemical engineering pursue professions in industrial and national research institutes, and academic faculty positions in universities. There have been a growing number of graduates who pursue other career options such as medical or dental school, law or industrial managements in recent years.
