Department of Bioenvironmental Energy
The Department of Bioenvironmental Energy aims to develop our students into professionals who can take charge of the new technology for next generation by teaching them the cutting edge environmental energy technology combining BT-NT-IT-ET areas, and by mentoring them through university-industry collaboration program, various research projects, and internships at environmental energy-related industry and research centers, in order to develop key technology to solve the future energy problems.
The Department offers comprehensive and systematic education in the resolution of environmental issues, such as the preservation of safe, fresh, and plentiful water supplies; the treatment and recycling of plant wastewater and waste; the treatment of urban and agricultural wastewater; the technology to reduce environmental pollution through the management of water, soil, and air quality; and environmental impact assessment. The Department also aims to enable students to acquire the theoretical knowledge and professional environmental skills required for the maintenance of a clean environment. Students receive education in preventive and post‐management theories, and the wise use of natural resources with the ultimate goal of preserving the local, national, and global environments.
