The purpose of the Nursing Education Major program is to cultivate nursing educators, nursing researchers, nursing education administrators, and school health educators who contribute to the promotion of national health and the development of a welfare society, based on Pusan National University’s educational philosophy of truth, freedom, and service.
Educational Objectives
- 1. Develop the qualities of a nursing educator who embodies the spirit of creativity and service.
- 2. Apply nursing knowledge grounded in the concepts of human beings, environment, health, and nursing to school health as well as community health and education.
- 3. Utilize various research methods to promote the development of school health, education, and administration, and to enhance community health.
- 4. Develop comprehensive competencies in nursing education to address the changing needs of society with a future-oriented approach.
