Our program provides research opportunities to address cutting-edge questions in integrated climate system research, climate dynamics and climate impacts. Our multidisciplinary approach in education and research gives graduate students a broad perspective on the multi-scale nature and complexity of the climate system, and the interaction between different earth system components, including the atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere and biosphere. We combine theoretical and statistical methods, numerical modeling and field and lab research to gain new insights into climate processes, impacts and focus on high-quality, transformative science.
Our graduate students recive graduate student fellowships to support education and conference travel.
